John Matthew Weidner was born in Dayton, Ohio October 11, 1880, and received his training in the public schools. He has been a member of the police force since October 14, 1909, and is proving himself a worthy officer. Previous to his appointment he was a sheet metal worker and furnace setter. He resides with his wife, Nellie, and two children, Violet and Ward. Mr. Weidner is keenly interested in fraternal work and is prominently identified with the Modern Woodmen of America and the Knights of the Golden Eagle.
