Thomas L. Moore, who comes of Irish parentage, was born at Statesville, in the State of North Carolina, on January 91, 1875. He received a common school education and came north when a young man. After trying his hand at a number of positions he finally settled down to being a motorman on the Dayton & Springfield Traction line, in which occupation he was engaged when appointed to the force on October 1, 1908. Mr. Moore does not possess a wife. He attends the Reformed Church, of which he is a member.
